This is me, exploring my new home and learning the surroundings one careful step at a time.

Time goes by, and the humans keep bringing me food and water.

They also clean the litter box every time. Excellent service. Five stars.

Life is getting calmer, and I am finally sleeping better. I stretch more now, but I still only dare to leave my hideout at night.

I have started learning the bedroom, one careful step at a time. Everything still looks new and a little scary. Sometimes even the shape of a chair gives me chills.

While it was dark and the humans were asleep, I found a better hideout behind a bed.

I stayed very still there and felt anxious. I did not understand where I was. New smells, new objects, everything felt unfamiliar.

This was my little cave, and for that night, it felt safe.

Two humans came to the shelter, seemed like they chose me.

Soon I was inside a strange bag, and then we went for a very long ride in a car. The whole trip felt loud and unfamiliar, and I tried to stay still the entire time.

When the car finally stopped, I found myself in a room I had never seen before. Everything smelled different, and I did not want to come out.

I stayed in the carrier for a couple of hours. At last, I quietly crawled out and hid in the corner behind the curtains.

Hi! This is my very first post and this is me at the cat shelter in Norrtälje. It felt a little scary at first, but the humans seem kind, and there is always food.
